Summer Art Nights: Printmaking (Main)
Art on a nice Summer night? Nothing sounds better than that! Come to the Library and enjoy an art filled evening learning the techniques of printmaking. In partnership with artist Brooke Lambert, a professional printmaker and painter, she will take you through this guided art class. The library will provide all materials. Registration is required.
11-7-23 Cambridge Municipal Election Preliminary Unofficial Results
The following results are unofficial as of November 7, 2023. Write-in, auxiliary, provisional, and overseas absentee ballots are not included in the results. Write-in and auxiliary ballots will be tabulated beginning on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Official results cannot be declared until Friday, November 17, when provisional ballots and overseas absentee ballots will be counted, as mandated by state law.
Family STEAM Night: Drawing Animals with Lindsey Leigh (O'Neill)
It's creepy crawly week at the Library!
Families with elementary school-age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together!
In March we will be joined by author and illustrator Lindsey Leigh to learn about drawing and cartooning animals!

July 4th Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular Information for Cambridge
Listed below are the pedestrian, parking, and traffic restrictions that will be in place in Cambridge for the 2024 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. Impacts will primarily occur in Boston with Cambridge being directly affected on July 4 – particularly after 4 p.m. All roadways will remain closed (unless noted otherwise) until the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) can clean the roadways and remove event and production assets.

The Conservation Commission is responsible for administering the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act (WPA). The WPA is a state law governing activities in and around local wetlands, waterways and floodplains.
Digital Bike Counters with Open Data
What’s the impact of the new bike lanes in Cambridge? Let’s measure it! Three new bicycle counters will provide accurate counts of people passing on bicycle via in-ground loop detectors and digitally display how many people use bike lanes.
