911 is for emergencies only. 911 Dispatchers answer both 911 calls as well as general or business calls made to the Cambridge Police and Cambridge Fire business numbers (617-349-3300 for Police and 617-349-4900 for Fire) as well as other public safety non-911 numbers. Reserving 911 for emergencies enables 911 dispatchers to easily recognize and give highest priority to emergency callers while still being able to receive and promptly answer calls for service or non-emergency calls.

However, it's essential for residents to move their vehicles according to the posted street cleaning schedule to ensure thorough cleaning of our City streets. Parking tickets of $50 will be issued to those who do not move their vehicles.

It is a 6 minute walk from Alewife MBTA station, accessible by bus or by the Red Line. There is no parking available on-site. Parking is available at Alewife MBTA station, the Alewife Reservation lot on Acorn Drive or limited on-street parking on Cambridgepark Drive.

Cambridge teens ages 14–19 can participate in exciting skill-based workshops and field trips on weekday evenings from 6-9 p.m. at Cambridge Youth Centers.
