Kim was born in Juneau, Alaska, the daughter of a mother of Alaskan Native Tlingit descent and a US Coast Guard veteran father from Kansas. Her mission is to connect people in empathy and social consciousness through the storytelling power of Folk Music. The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) regrets to announce the passing of retired police K-9 Kevin of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit. Kevin first joined the department in 2014 and was partnered with Officer Steve Lyons. Upon successfully completing a rigorous training course for explosive detection dogs, he went on to pass the ATF Odor Recognition test and achieved certification with the International Police Working Dog Association.

Effective December 21, 2021: In response to the spread of the Delta variant and the emerging Omicron variant, the Department of Public Health now advises that all residents, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask or face covering when indoors (and not in your own home). The DPH particularly urges this recommendation if you have a weakened immune system, or if you are at increased risk for severe disease because of your age or an underlying medical condition, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated.

A Moving Van Permit allows you to reserve curb space for the purpose of parking a vehicle on a City street while moving goods in or out of a building. Moving Van Permits can be issued for a maximum of three consecutive days.
