REVMA performs in celebration of Greek American Heritage Month

In FY22, the City appropriated more than $32 million to the Affordable Housing Trust, bringing the total of City funds committed to the Trust to more than $278 million (FY92-FY22) to invest in affordable housing initiatives.

Recommendations of the City Manager’s Task Force to Examine the Future of Public Safety in Cambridge

The City of Cambridge today announced that it will deploy Department of Public Works sound trucks to broadcast important COVID-19 prevention messages in Cambridge parks and neighborhoods.

The Board of Zoning Appeal (BZA) has an important role in decisions that help shape the use and appearance of buildings in our community. Under the Cambridge Zoning Ordinance, certain uses and types of development may require a variance, special permit, or a comprehensive permit from the BZA, a quasi-judicial body that conducts public hearings on all applications and appeals before it and issues decisions. The Board also hears appeals of Zoning Determinations made by the Inspectional Services Department.
