The City is developing plans to renovate Russell Field and the adjacent practice field area. Plans include the resurfacing of both playing fields and site amenities to improve the functionality of the facility.

Join the Cambridge Public Library and the International School of Boston as they collaborate to host a French story time and a music-and-movement session where children will sing, move, enjoy a classic book read aloud in French, and create a small craft to take home. Parents will walk away with simple, effective tips to support interactive reading at home. No prior French experience is needed; this program is designed to spark curiosity, build cultural awareness, and make language learning joyful for all! Recommended for youth ages 3 to 6 years with their caregiver. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. This Unit enables the Department to strengthen its case management processes, support officers with topics such as mental health and youth development, and provide clinical oversight to the support services of the CPD.

Park Ave. from Huron Ave. to Holworthy St. is scheduled for improvements as part of the Five Year Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction Plan. Work is expected to begin in the Spring of 2020.

The City of Cambridge announced that it is extending its successful program for feeding homeless residents with meals provided by local food establishments through October 3, 2021.
