The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and traffic impacts August 24 due to the Everybody Gotta Eat Cookout.

The Cambridge Housing Authority, a long-time partner of the City, invests in Cambridge families and provides enhanced support to almost 10% of the city population.

The Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP) provides access to free school-day, school-year preschool for all Cambridge 4-year-olds and some 3-year-olds. CPP, managed by the Cambridge Office of Early Childhood, is a mixed-delivery system that allows families to choose preschool programs that best fir their family's needs. DHSP Preschools are a partner provider of CPP.

Cambridge Police Detectives are seeking the assistance of the public with identifying the individuals pictured with regard to an on-going and active firearms investigation.

Come to the Library and enjoy an art filled evening learning the techniques of watercolor painting. In partnership with artist Brooke Lambert, a professional printmaker and painter, she will take you through this guided art class. The library will provide all materials.

Join musician Evan Haller of Music at the Blissful for an interactive music class. Through singing, movement and playful engagement, every child is invited to participate at their own level. Music at the Blissful presents music classes that not only entertain young minds but support early childhood development to grow mentally, physically and emotionally. Recommended for children ages birth-7 with their caregivers.

In honor of Pride month, we are celebrating the colors of the rainbow with tie-dye! Teens are welcome to tie-dye a provided shirt or bag or bring something of their own to tie-dye. Snacks are provided. No registration required, supplies are provided until they run out. The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability.
