Healthy Smiles for Older Adults (Main)
Join the Cambridge Public Health Department's Cambridge Healthy Smiles Program to learn more about your dental concerns as a senior: Receive advice on changes to your brushing routine as you advance in age; Hear a review of how oral health affects your overall health; Pick up oral health resource sheets for dental care along with a free toothbrush kit. Summer Reading: Summer Sing-Along (Main)
Join us to sing and move together. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 130 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. CPL Nature Club: Seed Swap (O'Neill)
Bring the extra garden seeds you don't think you will plant this year! See what your neighbors have before you purchase more! We will have envelopes and pens to help keep them straight. If you don't have seeds, come anyway, as we will have extras. This event is co-hosted by Cambridge City Growers, a group of volunteers across Cambridge working to start up gardens in neighborhoods to increase access to healthy, organic, and locally grown food.
Youth Dungeons & Dragons Session 1/4 (Valente Branch)
Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for four sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next four sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is required, as the program is capped at 8 players. Please plan to attend all sessions!
