With a deep passion for her craft, her sound draws from a beautiful blend of R&B, Neo-Soul, and Jazz influences. Through her artistry, she strives to inspire others with music that reflects real-life experiences in hopes of connecting with vast audiences. PARK SOUNDS 2026 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages. Bring a chair, food, and loved ones to celebrate the summer! Funding is provided by the CPL Foundation in memory of Janet Axelrod.

June selection: You Could Make This Place Beautiful by Maggie Smith. Join us to discuss a selection of fiction and nonfiction titles for adults. Print copies are available to pick up at Collins Branch during library hours.

Movie: War Horse The story follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, who is sold to the cavalry at the outbreak of World War I.

This CPR class will cover life-saving skills for infants, children and adults. We will use multi-media and hands-on practice to be sure students acquire skills and confidence to assist in a life-saving medical situation. This class will also cover training and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for all ages, along with life-saving skills in choking situations. Students will receive their certificate upon completion of class. Please note that the City is not responsible for the content or training equipment. Space is limited (20 adults), registration is required. Note for CONFIRMED registrants: Your spot is held until the program start time. Once the program begins, we will fill in open spots from a day-of waiting list until the program reaches capacity. Please plan to arrive at the library approximately 15 minutes before the start time to ensure adequate time to check in before the program begins. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please join the Cambridge Public Library and the American Repertory Theater for an afternoon of Wonder! To celebrate the much-anticipated new A.R.T. musical "Wonder," we'll be watching the 2017 movie adaptation of R.J. Palacio's book. Enjoy the movie on the big screen in our Lecture Hall, then browse our display of related books. All attendees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for four free tickets to a performance of "Wonder" at the A.R.T.
