The City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Public Health Department recognize that there are many questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, including safety of the vaccines; trust in government and pharmaceutical companies who developed the vaccines; potential side effects; who should and should not receive the vaccine; and where vaccines will be administered. CPHD and the City will continue to update residents and those who work in Cambridge as more information becomes available.

The City Council has proposed adopting a new City Charter, which is the law that prescribes the structure of the Cambridge government. The proposed new City Charter shall be submitted to the voters of the City of Cambridge for acceptance at the next biennial election, which will be held on November 4, 2025.

Join Navigation Games for Leprechaun Orienteering, a free and fun outdoor event for all ages at Kingsley Park in Fresh Pond Reservation. The Cambridge Police Department today announced the recovery of 89.65 grams of crack cocaine in a Central Square residence. Cedric Ingram, 57, of Cambridge, was arrested and charged with trafficking more than 36 grams of cocaine, subsequent possession with intent to distribute, and drug violation within school or park zone.
