Prepare to be amazed and surprised by a presentation from the Poop Museum, where everyone learns many fantastic, fabulous and fun facts about human, animal and insect poop. Music, movement and stories! Join local storyteller and community member ashley herring for 20 minutes of fun! For children of all ages and their grown-ups. ashley herring (she series) has enjoyed being in her imagination for countless years and promised she would never stop playing. With her ancestors, she dreamed up blackyard, a local grass roots organization, which lifts up and centers the love for Black children in Cambridge and surrounding greater area. ashley is excited to share songs and stories with you today.

Spend your lunchtime with us for a midday party and an American Sign Language (ASL) class rolled into one! Please feel free to bring your lunch with you to the class. Light snacks will be provided! SIGNING Basics hosts this event which teaches students various ASL signs through fun games and activities for beginners or intermediate learners that have more advanced skills. Signing Rocks! events are conducted in ASL with experienced instructors. Sign language interpreting is not provided; you will learn the vocabulary as you go throughout the class. This program is great for adults, teens, and families with kids ages 7+.

Combine your love for art and Autumn, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with fruits and seeds taking an artistic observation of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (long sleeves and sweaters) in the event of slightly cold weather. Registration is required.

This instructor-led Tai Chi class is open to all individuals to learn this ancient martial art.

Drop by the Central Square Branch's Lewis Room to read and discus a short story together. Copies of the story will be provided, along with snacks. No preparation or registration required!
