Experience the vibrant rhythms of Haitian Folklore in a class led by JAE company dancer Velouse Joseph. Class is accessible to all levels and welcomes kids of all ages and their caregivers. Class includes a guided warm-up followed by traditional Haitian dances. You'll move to the sounds of prerecorded Haitian rhythms as you connect to culture, community, and the joy of movement. PARK SOUNDS 2026 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages. It has been a month since the last community update on the City’s response to the shooting and death of Arif Sayed Faisal by a Cambridge Police Officer. Over the last four weeks, the City and Police Department have continued to work hard on a path forward and City Manager Huang is providing the community with an update on the City’s progress.

Taxi discount coupons, funded by the City of Cambridge, are offered free of charge to residents with disabilities and older adults (ages 60 and older) in Cambridge.

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), formerly called the Fuel Assistance Program, helps income-eligible residents who live in Cambridge or Somerville pay winter heating bills between November 1 and April 30. Renters and homeowners are eligible to apply if they meet federal income guidelines.

Bring the extra garden seeds you don't think you will plant this year! See what your neighbors have before you purchase more! We will have envelopes and pens to help keep them straight. If you don't have seeds, come anyway, as we will have extras. This event is co-hosted by Cambridge City Growers, a group of volunteers across Cambridge working to start up gardens in neighborhoods to increase access to healthy, organic, and locally grown food.

Learning Spanish can be a rewarding and joyous journey! This class is offered to adults ages 60+ and will focus on building connections, nurturing curiosity, and celebrating the lifelong adventure of learning together.
