Estate Planning for All (Virtual)
The Cambridge Public Library and Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School are excited to offer Estate Planning for All. Summer Reading: Pajama Story Time Outdoors at the Fresh Pond Apartments (O'Neill)
Come to the playground in your pajamas to listen to stories, read with your children and enjoy a snack before bed! This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This summer Pajama Story Time will happen outside in the playground area at the Fresh Pond Apartments. In case of bad weather, the story time will happen inside the Community Room of 362 Rindge Ave. Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.

CDC Releases Updated COVID-19 Vaccine Guidance for People who are Immunocompromised
Having a weakened immune system can make you more likely to get severely ill from COVID-19. Many conditions and treatments can cause a person to be immunocompromised or have a weakened immune system, ranging from inherited genetic conditions to immune-weakening medications such as corticosteroids.
Cambridge Fire 2024 Emergency Response Numbers at a Glance
In 2024, the Cambridge Fire Department responded to 16,182 emergency incidents, including 1,148 fires, 7,387 medical emergencies, and 237 elevator rescues. Firefighters played a critical role in major local fires, including a tragic 3-alarm fire in North Cambridge and multiple multi-alarm residential fires throughout the year. Cambridge fire companies also provided mutual aid to neighboring communities 196 times, highlighting their dedication to public safety.
2024-2025 Grant Recipients
Overall Cambridge Arts and the City are distributing more than $300,000 to 60 artists, cultural organizations and grant reviewers via grants and stipends this year through three funding opportunities offered by Cambridge Arts: Organizational Investment Grants, Art for Social Justice Grants, and Local Cultural Council Project Grants.
