More than five acres of new and renovated public open space will be created in Kendall Square and Eastern Cambridge over the next few years. The Eastern Cambridge Kendall Square Open Space (ECKOS) Planning Study is working to shape these new parks.

The Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants one hour before the event's start time. Led by The Hope Group, an award-winning Boston-based AI education team, in collaboration with the Cambridge Public Library.

Join us for a collaborative experience where families build and battle robots together. This event is recommended for children ages 7 and up and their families. This program can accommodate 16 families. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Chestnut Street from Sydney St. to Pleasant St. is scheduled for reconstruction in 2023 as part of the City's Five Year Plan for Sidewalk and Street Reconstruction.

The planning team will share recommendations developed with the community over the course of the sixteen-month planning process that will help to Make Mass Ave more beautiful, produce more housing , provide more neighborhood amenities, support small businesses, and improve sidewalks and walkability

This event is co-sponsored by the Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship and the Department of Human Services Programs. We are working with Mass Hire and the African Bridge Network to provide Orientation Workshops for Foreign-Trained Professionals where recent skilled immigrants and refugees can connect with experts, peers, and career resources. These workshops will be hosted throughout the calendar year in Cambridge, Greater Boston, Worcester, Roxbury, Woburn, and North Shore.
