While trucks and tour buses are allowed to operate within the City of Cambridge, they are still restricted from certain streets, as defined below, unless delivering to addresses on those specific streets.
All restrictions are for 24 hours a day, seven days a week unless otherwise noted
Apply for a Block Party Permit
A block party is a community event hosted on a City street by a group of neighbors, a non-profit organization, or an association. During a block party, a portion a single block is closed to through traffic.
Upcoming Flu, COVID-19, and VaxAbilities Clinics
The Cambridge Public Health Department is hosting free flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the Cambridge community, and partnering with VaxAbilities on two clinics (Oct. 19 and Nov. 16) with extra staff to provide skilled support to people with disabilities and/or sensory support needs.

Mass Ave Partial Construction Project Open House
A Construction Open House will be held on March 26 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at the Lesley University Atrium. This will be a chance to see the design for this section of Mass Ave and learn more about what to expect during construction.

Cycling Safety Ordinance sets ambitious requirements for the installation of approximately 25 miles of separated bike lanes within the next six to eight years.

The Multilingual Helpline is a public-facing phone number for interpretation services. Any community member can call 617-865-2273 for free interpretation to access information about resources and services that the City of Cambridge provides.
