Learn about the centuries-old art of reverse glass painting and create your own reverse painting! Choose from three images and paint it using acrylic paint on clear acetate. This program can accommodate 30 youth ages 11 to 18 years old. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn the basics of sewing machine operation and safety. This session will cover machine setup, basic functions, threading the machine, reloading the bobbin, sewing straight stitches, and recognizing when stitch tension has gone awry. We’ll also cover some safety best practices when operating a sewing machine. As we learn together, we’ll work on a simple sewing project—a drawstring bag—which most students will be able to complete by the end of the class. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.

This school vacation week, join musician Evan Haller of Music at the Blissful for an interactive music class. Through singing, movement and playful engagement, every child is invited to participate at their own level. Music at the Blissful presents music classes that not only entertain young minds but support early childhood development to grow mentally, physically and emotionally. Recommended for children ages birth-7 with their caregivers.

Get creative after school! Decorate a paper stained glass suncatcher. Choose a dragon design from the Wings of Fire book series and hang in a window to let sunlight stream through. Recommended for children ages 6-12 and their caregivers.
