Join us to learn about the transformative power of prison gardens for people who are incarcerated. First, we’ll watch the award-winning 30-minute documentary, Seeds of Change, about a five-acre prison garden in Maine that has offered a gateway to wellness and dignity for prisoners. Following the documentary, the New Garden Society will present and answer questions about the work they do with prison gardens in the Greater Boston area.

Come and learn about your rights as a tenant along with Cambridge resources that support renters! In this workshop, you will hear from attorneys from Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services and the City of Cambridge's Office of the Housing Liaison. This a hybrid event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. We will be providing interpretation in Spanish and Haitian Creole on location during the event.
