The Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s Students for Smiles Club and the Central Square Branch Library are hosting a free community event on oral health. Attendees will learn how to brush and floss the right way through a short talk and hands-on practice. The program will also share simple tips for preventing common dental problems and explain when to see a dentist. Free toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and local dental care resources will be available for everyone.

City of Cambridge Issues Emergency Order Requiring Use of Face Coverings
The City of Cambridge issued an emergency order requiring that face coverings be worn in all public places, businesses and common areas of residential buildings. The order takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, and applies to everyone over the age of five years old. Violations may be punishable by a $300 fine.

Each tour covered one Cambridge neighborhood square, Central, Inman, or Harvard Square, highlighting the impact local individuals and organizations had on the feminist movement from 1970s-1990s

Installing outdoor workout equipment in local parks encourages people to exercise. This equipment would include pull-up and dip bars, benches, and locations for stretching. Outdoor gyms help keep Cambridge residents healthy and fit!

The Cambridge Historical Commission, a citywide body of seven members and three alternates, establishes historic preservation policy for the city and administers two historic districts, the Harvard Square Conservation District, the citywide landmark and demolition ordinances, and the preservation grant program for rehabilitation assistance.
