Family Literacy Fun Day
November is National Family Literacy Month. Cambridge families with children ages birth to 3rd grade are invited to celebrate talking, reading, singing, and telling stories with free books and fun activities!
2025 City Manager Performance Review
This is the third year Cambridge has conducted a City Manager Performance Review, which is an important commitment to transparency and accountability. This next step will be followed by the City Council’s formal evaluation delivered at a Special City Council Meeting in December.
CloudHouse
CloudHouse is a temporary pavilion that provides shade and seating in an active recreational area to reduce the impacts of extreme heat. The pavilion provides flexible seating and an open form that invites people to socialize, rest, and enjoy a favorite neighborhood park!

Raymond Park
The City of Cambridge will renovate Raymond Park in Neighborhood Nine. The design and community engagement process will begin in early 2024, and construction is anticipated to begin in 2025.

Huron Ave and Cushing Plaza Improvements Project
As part of the Five-Year Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction Plan, Huron Ave, from Fresh Pond Place to Fresh Pond Parkway, is scheduled for reconstruction. This project will include paving, sidewalk improvements and utility installations.
Cushing Plaza, located at Cushing Street and Huron Avenue, is scheduled for reconstruction to allow stormwater to infiltrate and provide enhanced biochar and compost soil for the new trees and garden plantings.
