This page provides a link to the Cambridge Entrepreneurship Assistance Program Application Form. The Program is a 4 month financial education program for entrepreneurs in emerging technologies.

Cambridge is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 while minimizing economic displacement from energy costs. We want to ensure that all our residents, regardless of race, wealth, primary language, or health, can survive and thrive during and after extreme storms and heat waves.

The Community Preservation Act (CPA) helps cities and towns preserve the character of their community. A 3% CPA surcharge is included with Property Tax bills to fund affordable housing, open space, and historic preservation projects.

This event has been moved to the Learning Lab at the Main Library, located at 449 Broadway, due to the temporary closing of the Valente Branch. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. Everyone is welcome. Treat yourself to an afternoon of fun, creativity, and community while a local artist guides us step-by-step through the process of creating a beautiful acrylic painting. We'll provide the tea and light refreshments. No experience necessary. All are welcome. Acrylic paint can stain clothing. Please wear old clothing. Seating is limited to 8. Registration is required and will open at least two weeks before event.

This week 42 Student Officers officially began their law enforcement career as part of the Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy. Now in it’s eighth class, the Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy is a collaboration between both departments with support from other agencies. The academy is authorized by the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) to provide recruit level training for officers looking to work in municipal or university settings.

Fall season is in the air, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with the trees and leaves to take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (long sleeves and sweaters) in the event of slightly cold weather. Registration is required.

The shelter, part of the Commonwealth’s Emergency Assistance Family Shelter system, is designed for eligible families in Massachusetts who are experiencing homelessness (eligible families must have children under 21 years of age and/or individuals who are pregnant) to stay while they work with case managers to find and move into stable, permanent housing.
