STEAM Careers Exploration 2024
The goal of the STEAM Careers Exploration Program, offered through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program, is to encourage teens – especially those from communities historically excluded from STEM opportunities - to pursue higher-level STEM classes in high school, decide to major in STEM fields in college, or otherwise follow a training path that leads to a well-paying career at a local company.

Sustaining Community: A Climate Change Book Group (Main/Virtual)
The climate is changing, and we're all here on the planet together. Join us for a monthly community gathering and discussion of a variety of books about climate change. We will share thoughts, resources, and occasionally host special guests in a welcoming small-group environment. Our July book is The Weight of Nature: how a changing climate changes our brains by Clayton Page Aldern. Copies are available to pick up at the Q&A desk at the Main Library. This is a hybrid event. Cambridge Announces New Small Business Relief Grant Program
The City of Cambridge announced the next round of small business relief grants today which will award over $2,000,000 to eligible Cambridge businesses. Earlier this year, the City offered grants to restaurants and night life venues and this grant program is open to businesses across multiple sectors.
"Navigating Loss," An Informal Conversational Group Exploring Grief, Extends Sessions
In response to community feedback, the Council on Aging is extending the Navigating Loss Conversational Group. Community members are invited to join the Council on Aging to explore grief and how it impacts our lives. We will also share resources, coping strategies, and personal experiences. All are welcome.
