In January, the state launched several programs to make it easier for children, teens, and adults to get help for mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

Through Rise Up, Cambridge became the first city in the nation to introduce a non-lottery program to provide direct cash assistance to all eligible families. Ultimately, the City was focused helping families with children to meet their basic needs.

As cases continue to increase in Massachusetts and in Cambridge, the City is reminding residents that COVID-19 is still with us. Help prevent the spread by remembering the basics - Wear a mask or face covering, Practice physical distancing, Wash your hands for 20 seconds.
