In 2024, the City of Cambridge plans to install quick-build separated bike lanes and make related safety improvements on Cambridge Street between Inman Square and Second Street. We will start by introducing the project and gathering feedback that will help us draft designs for the street.

The Community Preservation Act (CPA) Committee will hold a virtual public hearing to receive public requests and comments on FY27 funding for affordable housing, open space and historic preservation projects.

There are programs which we undertake such as creating charging stations for electric cars, doing bike promotions and education, crating a pedestrian plan and working to place bus shelters at busy stops.
