In order to develop Cambridge Crossing, DivcoWest was required to make improvements to Monsignor O’Brien Highway from Third Street to Museum Way. These improvements have included subsurface and surface infrastructure upgrades. This section of Monsignor O’Brien Highway is being transformed from a highway into a tree lined boulevard with bicycle lanes/cycle tracks, new sidewalks and significantly improved pedestrian crossings. Due to the construction associated with the MBTA’s Green Line Extension (GLX) Project, these improvements have been phased over several years.

The Transit Advisory Committee provides advice to city staff on city and state projects related to transit. The Committee gives advice and input to the city on how to improve and promote public transportation. This includes the transit services of the MBTA, EZRide, and other shuttles in the city.

Join the Cambridge Public Library and the International School of Boston as they collaborate to host a French story time and a music-and-movement session where children will sing, move, enjoy a classic book read aloud in French, and create a small craft to take home. Parents will walk away with simple, effective tips to support interactive reading at home. No prior French experience is needed; this program is designed to spark curiosity, build cultural awareness, and make language learning joyful for all! Recommended for youth ages 3 to 6 years with their caregiver. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. Cambridge City Manager Richard C. Rossi is seeking persons interested in serving on a Cambridge Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship. The Commission will consist of 11 volunteer members to be appointed by the City Manager.
