Please join us for a discussion related to vision changes in older adults. Presented by the Carroll Center for the Blind, the program will feature a Low Vision Therapist to discuss common age-related vision conditions and early detection as well as a Technology Specialist who will demonstrate tools for using your phone with greater ease along with other assistive devices. Registration is requested, but not required.

The Science Carnival is a beloved yearly highlight of the Cambridge STEAM calendar and features over 125 activity booths and demonstrations, with live music and installations.

Join the Cambridge Public Health Department, the Community Safety Department, and the Cambridge Public Library for a panel discussion that aims to raise awareness and community knowledge about how to access national, state, and local resources. Attendees will hear from representatives with the Samaritans, the Community Safety Department (CARE team), and the Community Behavioral Health Center. The City of Cambridge has confirmed that its Temporary Emergency Construction Moratorium, which was originally instituted on March 18, 2020 on all construction activity for both public and private property will remain in place. Additionally, the City today released guidance to contractors that are approved to work during the moratorium. This new guidance is part of the City’s continuing efforts and commitments to safeguard the health of construction workers, all other workers associated with the construction industry and members of the public.

This school vacation week, join musician Evan Haller of Music at the Blissful for an interactive music class. Through singing, movement and playful engagement, every child is invited to participate at their own level. Music at the Blissful presents music classes that not only entertain young minds but support early childhood development to grow mentally, physically and emotionally. Recommended for children ages birth-7 with their caregivers.

We will be using library consoles to enjoy multiplayer games. This program is for families with children aged 7-13 and their caretakers. This program can accommodate 16 gamers. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The gamer must be present to receive a ticket.
