Cambridge Program for Individuals with Special Needs
The Cambridge Program serves people with intellectual disabilitis who are 11 years old and older. The program offers recreational activities and life skills several times a week that are designed to promote self-esteem, encourage social interaction, and increase physical well-being.
Preservation Grants
To aid in the preservation and rehabilitation of these older buildings, the Historical Commission administers various federal, state, and local programs.
Summer Kickoff Party!
Stop by Joan Lorentz Park to kick off summer with a live performance from Crocodile River Music, arts and crafts, free ice cream, and more! Pick up your Summer Reading bingo board and learn more about special events happening all summer long. Bring a chair, food, and loved ones to celebrate the summer! All ages are welcome!
Squirrel Brand
The Squirrel Brand project includes several buildings, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse to convert the former candy factory into 18 affordable rental units.
Code a Poem with OctoStudio (O'Neill)
Families are invited to join us for a drop-in creative coding workshop using OctoStudio, a new app developed by the team behind Scratch. We will make digital interactive poetry together!
No registration required. Adults are encouraged to participate alongside their children!
