Challenge your family or meet new friends over board games in the Community Room at Valente. The library will supply games and snacks. No registration is required for this drop-in event. The City of Cambridge, through its Community Benefits Advisory Committee, is pleased to provide an advance announcement for an upcoming competitive round of grant funding. This funding is intended to address critical needs of Cambridge residents by supporting community-based nonprofit organizations that are well-suited to respond.

We'll record what we find in our nature journals and play nature games. All materials will be provided. In the instance of bad weather, this program will take place in the Children's Room. Beginning November 1, 2022, commercial generators that produce more than 1,000 lbs of food waste per week will be required to reduce or divert their food waste going into the trash. To assist small businesses in Cambridge with this state regulation, the service and carts will be provided by the city at no cost to the participating businesses. Weekly collection is anticipated to start on October 24, 2022.
