Cambridge Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit Shares Traffic Safety Reminders
The Cambridge Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit works all year to service the community by enforcing the rules of the road. Our goal is to reduce the number and severity of crashes in the city. Many of the current enforcement programs are a direct response to community complaints regarding speeding and other violations. The Department also spends time educating the public when there are any infrastructure changes, like new bike lanes or traffic patterns. We are committed to fostering greater traffic safety for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

She has had a long career in journalism, primarily as a copy editor, starting at Boston Phoenix then at the Atlantic and today as a columnist at the Globe.

Would you like to make your own vinyl signs, stickers, or images to transfer to T-shirts and other textiles? In this workshop, you can learn how to use our Roland Camm-1 GS-24 vinyl cutter. You can then design a sticker and cut it with our vinyl cutter! Registration is required. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.

Cambridge Police Release Updated Video and Images of Suspect Believed to be Involved in Multiple Sexual Assaults
Following an ongoing investigation into three separate sexual assaults that have been reported this year, the Cambridge Police today released a series of videos and surveillance photos of a suspect they are attempting to identify and locate. The suspect is believed to be associated with all three indecent assault reports.
Boston Man Pleads Guilty to Three Shootings that Occurred in Cambridge and Somerville
CAMBRIDGE, MA – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Cambridge Police Commissioner Christine Elow and Somerville Chief of Police Charles Femino have announced that Lennox Pierre-Louis, 22, of Boston, has pled guilty in connection with shootings that occurred on March 11, 2022, and June 18, 2022, in Cambridge and on December 27, 2021, in Somerville.
