The Office of Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui, in collaboration with the City of Cambridge Office of Equity and Inclusion, the Cambridge Public Schools Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Cambridge Community Foundation, and the Islamic Society of Boston, is proud to host the Cambridge Community Iftar.

What Works Cities Certification represents the international standard of data excellence in city governance. Cambridge is the only New England city Certified at the Gold level in 2024, and one of two cities across the nation to achieve Gold level Certification three times (joining Washington, D.C.).

In 2024, the City of Cambridge plans to install quick-build separated bike lanes and make related safety improvements on Cambridge Street between Inman Square and Second Street. We will start by introducing the project and gathering feedback that will help us draft designs for the street.
