Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection is adding textiles and mattresses to materials banned from trash disposal. Textiles include clothes, linens, towels, shoes, and accessories, like hats, gloves, socks, underwear, belts, and handbags. Residents can schedule a free mattress and textiles pickup online, or drop-off textiles at 12 locations.

Calling all trans and nonbinary herb lovers! Join us over a cup of herbal tea to discuss how we can work with plants to care for ourselves and each other. CAMBRIDGE, MA – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Cambridge Police Commissioner Christine Elow and Somerville Chief of Police Charles Femino have announced that Lennox Pierre-Louis, 22, of Boston, has pled guilty in connection with shootings that occurred on March 11, 2022, and June 18, 2022, in Cambridge and on December 27, 2021, in Somerville.
