Join us to celebrate the beginning of summer and sign up for Summer Reading! We will have small seed planting kits for you to decorate & use, some coloring pages, and dance party music! All ages welcome.

Trained counselors, who are not clinicians, are available to provide free, confidential emotional support to all callers.

The LGBTQ+ Youth Celebration will be a fun and joyful event for all ages, families, and adults! Drag Queen Aurora will share their journey into drag and facilitate a discussion of queer experience and community celebration. There will also be a runway and folks are welcome to bring costumes or choose from our costume box. There will be snacks, music, and books about LGBTQ+ history!

Experience the joy of Hip Hop Xpression with Jarell Howard Rochelle in this fun, high-energy program for kids and teens. Participants will learn simple choreography, explore freestyle movement, and be introduced to authentic hip hop terminology and culture. This interactive class emphasizes connection, creativity, and self-expression, while celebrating the spirit of hip-hop. No prior dance experience is needed — just come ready to move, laugh, and have fun together. Families and youth of all ages are welcome. This event has been moved inside due to a chance of rain. Join us for STEAM activities for all ages outdoors at Valente's patio! This month we will be making winged-seed models to explore nature's seed dispersal strategies! In the case of weather complications, this program will be held inside.

Celebrate the start of the school year by making an accessory to hang from your backpack. Recommended for children ages 6-12 with a caregiver. We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for 20-25 minutes of fun and scary songs and stories for a late October treat! Feel free to wear your favorite cozy pajamas or a scary or fun costume! Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.
