This June, the Cambridge Warriors — our undefeated Special Olympics basketball team — are heading to Minneapolis to compete in the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games National Championship! Learn more about the team and how to support them on this journey.

Public hearing to consider the removal of public trees. Any objections to their removal must be submitted in writing to the City Arborist prior to or during the hearing.

This initiative will provide safe and convenient spaces for individuals to voluntarily hand over unwanted firearms without the need for questions or identification.

As students across the country adjust to new classrooms and back-to-school routines, the Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) is thrilled to welcome students of all ages – from preschoolers to adults – back to our school-year programs!

The Transition Wellness Center (TWC), a temporary homeless shelter at the Spaulding Hospital, opened on December 16 following the closure of the temporary emergency shelter at the War Memorial Recreation Center. The shelter is intended to help address the urgent needs of Cambridge residents who are experiencing homelessness or unable to safely quarantine in their residence due to the COVID-19 public health emergency.

The Cambridge Pedestrian Committee works to create a more comfortable, safe, and pleasant environment for walking in Cambridge.

Hosting each session will be Cambridge native and saxophonist Bobby Tynes and his amazing all star rhythm section.
