Teen Night Live Summer 2025
Cambridge teens ages 14–19 can participate in exciting skill-based workshops and field trips on weekday evenings from 6-9 p.m. at Cambridge Youth Centers.
Parent/Child (Ages 7-10) Book Group (Main)
Please note the different day of the week for this event due to Library closure on Tuesday November 11. Join us for a lively discussion of a great book in person at the Main Library! Snacks will be provided. For ages 7-10 and a parent or caregiver. This month's book is Pie by Sarah Weeks. When Alice's beloved and eccentric Aunt Polly passes away, her will reveals she has left her world-famous pie crust recipe to her fat grumpy cat, Lardo. And Lardo has been left to Alice! Everyone in town wants to be the next pie contest champion, and it's up to Alice and her friends to solve the mystery of the recipe and discover the not-so-secret recipe for happiness. Copies of this month's book are available at the Children's Desk. Both caregiver and child should read the book before the discussion to participate. NEW LOCATION: Board Game Night for Adults (O'Connell)
Join us for an evening of board games. We have: Wingspan, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Azul, Splendor, Scrabble, chess, checkers, Bananagrams, and more! Feel free to bring a board game to play with others. We will provide pizza and beverages. Registration helpful.
Science and Conservation
Our public art collection reflects the growth of technology that continues to expand the contemporary artist's palette, which can include different metal alloys, plastics, paint, glass, water, or new media. Through our applied science practice we assist that exploration of new public art materials, and research best conservation materials for treatment and care.

Citizenship Preparation Classes
Come join this free 10-week class, in partnership with St. Mark Community Education Program. This series of classes prepares students for all parts of the Citizenship interview. This class is offered as a 10-week series. Attendance at all sessions is expected. Violence Prevention Programs
Violence prevention requires an investment of resources, people, leadership and commitment. It can be a complex problem that requires comprehensive solutions and participation from multiple stakeholders. The City of Cambridge recognizes the importance of collaboration and the commitment required to best support this critical work, which often involves our youth and young adults.
Teen Pride Tie-Dye (Valente)
In honor of Pride month, we are celebrating the colors of the rainbow with tie-dye! Teens are welcome to tie-dye a provided shirt or bag or bring something of their own to tie-dye. Snacks are provided. No registration required, supplies are provided until they run out. The City of Cambridge does not discriminate, including on the basis of disability. We may provide auxiliary aids and services, written materials in alternative formats, and reasonable modifications in policies and procedures to people with disabilities. Cosmic Craft (Collins)
World Space Week runs October 4-10, 2025. Celebrate with an after school activity. Supplies will be provided to design your own galaxy or solar system. Recommended for ages 4-10 with a caregiver.
Summer Art Nights: Printmaking (Main)
Art on a nice Summer night? Nothing sounds better than that! Come to the Library and enjoy an art filled evening learning the techniques of printmaking. In partnership with artist Brooke Lambert, a professional printmaker and painter, she will take you through this guided art class. The library will provide all materials. Registration is required.
