CPL Nature Club: Bug Walk (Boudreau)
Join us for a walk at Fresh Pond as we explore the wonderful world of bugs! We will learn about some common local insects, arachnids, and other invertebrates, and get to know some plants that host lots of bug species.

Math Playground Event
Cambridge families and young people are invited to join the Cambridge STEAM Initiative, Cambridge Public Schools (CPS), and The Young People’s Project (YPP) at the Math Playground event — an exciting day of family fun that builds math literacy for all ages! The day will include a range of activities that showcase the joy, fun, and wonder in math experiences for young people and families.
Gore Street Utility Construction and Road Reconstruction
The City of Cambridge and Divco West, developer of NorthPoint, will be undertaking construction on Gore Street between Monsignor O’Brien Highway and Warren Street. This construction is an opportunity to incorporate improvements into Gore Street; sidewalks, crosswalks, street trees improved access to the park, etc.
135 Sherman Street Multi-Use Facility
This project consists of an underground wet weather storage tank and City facility to serve the growing needs of the City. The project is located at the recently acquired 135 Sherman Street parcel.
Tobin Montessori & Darby Vassall Upper Schools Project
The Cambridge Public Schools’ Innovation Agenda will result in the creation of four new upper school campuses serving students in grades 6 to 8. The Tobin and Darby Vassall Upper Schools, located at 197 Vassal Lane, Cambridge, will be the third school to be redesigned.
February First Time Homebuying Workshop
Pre-registration Required. The four-week workshop will cover a variety of topics including: an overview of the home buying process, credit & budgeting, obtaining a mortgage, legal issues, home inspections, and an introduction to Cambridge's financial assistance programs. Classes include a combination of presentations by Cambridge homebuyer counselors, local real estate brokers, home inspectors and loan officers. Participants are expected to attend all four classes and class begins promptly at 6:00pm.
