Fossil Fuel Free Ordinance
The City of Cambridge Fossil Fuel Free Ordinance is effective March 22, 2024. The ordinance requires new buildings and major renovation projects to be fossil fuel-free. Fossil fuel-free means not using oil, gas, propane, or other fossil fuels. The requirements apply to both residential and non-residential building projects.

CANCELED Family STEAM Night: Sink/Float (O'Neill)
Families with elementary school-age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together!
This month we will be experimenting with sink or float!
Swinging Into Inclusivity
Place several inclusive swing sets in parks to allow children with mobility disabilities to play with able bodied children. This will take a stand against ableism by enabling kids of all abilities to play together.
Castle of our Skins Presents: A Little History (Main)
Presented by Castle of our Skins, "A Little History" is a 60 minute interactive recital that tells the simplified stories of nine legendary figures in Black History through original music, poetry, and engagement.
Recommended for school-age children and their caregivers.
Summer Reading: Storytelling with Ben Cunningham (O'Neill)
Join local artist, musician and educator Ben Cunningham for a transformative storytelling performance. Recommended for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers.
This program will happen outside. In case of bad weather, this program will happen inside the Peabody School gym
