The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. Homeowner's Rehab, Inc. (HRI), a local non-profit affordable housing provider, purchased 30 Wendell Street, a current tennis court, from Lesley University in November 2023. Located in the Baldwin neighborhood, the site is in close proximity to the amenities of the Massachusetts Avenue corridor, including shops, restaurants, and public transportation. HRI is planning to create new affordable rental housing on the property under the provisions of the Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO).

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and traffic impacts Sunday, September 14 due to the Thai Market Fair in Harvard Square.

The City of Cambridge will be distributing finished compost free of charge to Cambridge residents on Saturday, October 29, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., at Joan Lorentz Park, (in front of Cambridge Public Library), 449 Broadway, Cambridge. The rain date is October 30 at same time and location.

Preschool, Childcare, and Afterschool programs, a part of the Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP), returned to in-person care and child-centered programming in September 2021.
