The COVID-19 pandemic has been a uniquely stressful time for almost everyone. Depression and anxiety are a normal response to stress. The MassSupport Network was established to provide free support services to people of all ages living in Massachusetts. The program is a partnership of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Riverside Community Care.

The Cambridge Police Department announced the promotions of 7 members to Lieutenants and Sergeants on October 18, 2024. At a ceremony held at the Cambridge Police Department, Police Commissioner Christine Elow promoted two officers to Lieutenants and five to Sergeants.

The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) offers summer camps and programs to Cambridge children and youth currently in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Activities include art, sports, swimming, field trips, and more. All DHSP summer camps and programs are filled through a lottery process. The deadline to apply to the 2025 DHSP Summer Lottery application is Monday, March 3.
