New Small Business Succession Planning Program
The City of Cambridge Community Development Department (CDD) is launching a new program for Cambridge business owners interested in getting their business ready to be sold or transferred to your family, an employee, or someone else.
Who Let the Dogs Out
Add amenities like water fountains, waste bag dispensers, and more dog-friendly environments to two dog parks around the city-- offering a safe area for dogs and their owners to play and interact with other dogs.
Timeline
Our community has experienced many impacts and hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has witnessed the resiliency and generosity of our city. In an effort to reflect on some of the most important events and milestones of the pandemic, we’ve created an interactive timeline to help remind us how far we’ve come.
Human Rights Commission
The Cambridge Human Rights Commission (CHRC) was established in 1984 to protect the civil rights of residents and visitors to the city.
Laundry Access in Public Schools ($50,000)
Renovate a space in a Cambridge Public School and install washers and dryers for students who do not have easy access to laundry services at home, to use for their clothing and necessities.
Zoning and Development
CDD provides professional support on matters related to zoning policy and urban design, and to the work of the Cambridge Planning Board.
