Established in 2013, the Cambridge Police Chaplaincy Program is the first of its kind in the Commonwealth where chaplains will work with the department and be called out to crime scenes and significant events to offer services to officers, victims, and members of the community.

The Massachusetts Latino Police Officers Association and Massachusetts Police Association will be recognizing four Cambridge Police officers for their dedicated efforts and contributions to the profession.

The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. January's meeting will be held on January 23rd at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackerman Room. Register to join the January 2025 Affordable Housing Trust meeting.

Beginning the week of April 22, weather permitting, the City's contractor, E J Paving, will be performing partial roadway grinding and paving operations to enhance the road conditions on several streets around the City.

The Department of Transportation will host an information session about the EZRide Shuttle and its recently expanded schedule. This event will include a short presentation on the EZRide, which is a shuttle bus service that is open to the public for free. The Shuttle goes from North Station through Kendall Square and MIT to Cambridgeport on weekdays. We will show the route and its recently expanded schedule, including the new weekend service. We will explore weeds and cultivated plants, trees and shrubs, and have lots of space for questions and conversation. Bring a notebook if you like, and meet us at the Central Square Branch Library.
