The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. June's meeting will be held on June 25, 2026 at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackermann Room. Register to join the June 2026 Affordable Housing Trust meeting. In July, the City Manager’s Office in collaboration with the Cambridge Public Health Department launched the Cambridge Community Corps program, which was developed to help encourage Cambridge residents to adopt and keep practicing safe habits, such as wearing a mask and maintaining good hand hygiene, which will help slow the spread of COVID-19. The Corps Members will be giving positive reinforcement on healthy behaviors and having friendly and helpful interactions with their neighbors.

Selected artists will receive up to $95,000 in support of approved projects. Cool Spots are temporary, site-responsive shade structures that provide heat relief, foster community gathering, and spark public imagination regarding climate resilience.

The City of Cambridge is pleased to announce a new pilot program that will provide up to 20-30 students with free tuition at Bunker Hill Community College and a College Success Coach this school year.

Through the Main Street Safety Improvement Project, the City will add separated bike lanes to Main Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Portland Street, creating a more-comfortable bike connection between the Port and Central Square.
