City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Presidents Day Holiday on Monday, February 20
In observance of the Presidents Holiday on Monday, February 20, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed. Curbside trash, recycling, and compost collection will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind for the rest of the week.
Registration Opens March 16 for Spring Programs at the War Memorial Recreation Center
This spring, the War Memorial will offer a variety of recreational programs for children and adults, including swimming instruction for all ages, youth gymnastics and tennis, karate, yoga, Zumba, and more!

Cambridge NITES: Lilypad's 20th Anniversary Party
The Lilypad in Inman Square will host a three-day 20th anniversary party. This family-friendly event has something for everyone. The weekend long celebration will include the launch of the Lilypad’s new “window stage,” a silent disco, an “art jam,” karaoke, and live music.

Join us for a lively discussion of a great book in person at the Main Library! Snacks will be provided. For ages 7-10 and a parent or caregiver. This month's book is Little Monarchs by Jonathan Case, a graphic novel which imagines a future world where all life on earth has become allergic to the sun. Human survivors have moved underground, and it's up to 10-year-old Elvie to distribute a cure made from Monarch wing scales to save the world! (Content: dystopian themes, some action and violence, natural disasters) Both caregiver and child should read the book before the discussion to participate.
