Sewer Lining Process

The City's contractor, National Water Main will be making repairs to Cambridge's aging sewer lines over the next several months. This work is part of the Trenchless Rehab program. Trenchless Rehab will provide a new, joint-less sewer pipe connection that minimizes root and water infiltration problems, improves flow, and provides for a more structurally sound pipe without the need for excavation. A notice will be sent to impacted streets before this work begins.

A project page has been set up for residents to learn more about this work, including schedule, locations and frequently asked questions.
