Expect light traffic impacts on April 30 due to Bionic 5K

Map of the race route for the Bionic 5k: Bionic 5K.. Starting at 48 Church Street in Harvard Square, the route goes down Church Street to Brattle Street, right on Lakeview Ave., left on Worthington St., left on Lexington Ave., left on Brattle St., and left on Church St. .

Expect light traffic impacts near Harvard Square on Sunday, April 30, due to the Bionic 5K road race. Adaptive athletes and other local runners will participate in this race to raise money for the Bionic Project, an organization that aims to eliminate disability bias by highlighting, examining, and celebrating our differences through education and sport. 

The race will begin at 9:30 a.m. at 41 Church St. in Harvard Square. Runners will travel down Church Street to Brattle Street, turn right on Lakeview Avenue, turn left on Worthington Street, turn left on Lexington Avenue, turn left on Brattle Street, and turn left on Church Street. 

Expect traffic impacts between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
