Parking and Traffic Impacts August 24-25

The following events will impact parking and traffic in Cambridge from August 24-25, 2024:

Port Community Pride Day will take place on Saturday, August 24, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Streets will be closed from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., including Columbia Street between Washington Street and Bishop Allen Drive, Pine Street, between Washington Street and School Street, and Eaton Street, between Pine Street and Cherry Street. The rain date for this event is Saturday, September 7.

Found Cambridge Block Party 
will take place on Saturday, August 24, from 12-5 p.m. Columbia St will be closed between Bishop Allen Drive & Main St., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Everybody Gotta Eat 5th Annual Cookout will take place on Sunday, August 25, from 12-6 p.m., at Green Rose Heritage Park on Harvard Street. Harvard Street will be closed between Windsor Street and Moore Street from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. The rain date for this event will be Sunday, September 15. The Cambridge Community Development Department partners with Everybody Gotta Eat to host a BBQ with a Vendor Fair showcasing a variety of businesses from food to retail products as part of the National Black Business Month. Free and open to all. Learn more.

Harvard Square Black Owned Business Pop-up Market
. The weekly Black Owned Business Pop-up in Harvard Square will take place on Palmer Street every Sunday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Palmer Street will be closed this Sunday, August 25 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
