Traffic impacts and street closures are expected throughout the week and weekend across Cambridge. Please follow all posted detour signage, plan ahead, and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation.

Wednesday, June 25: Taste of Cambridge

• Street Closures
  • This event takes place on Sidney Street between Green to Pacific. Franklin St will be closed at Brookline St and Lansdowne St.

Friday, June 27: City of Cambridge Dance Party

• Road Closures and Impacts

• Expect major traffic impacts in Central Square near City Hall on Friday afternoon and evening until 12:00 AM.

• Temple Street will be closed starting at 8:00 AM.

• Massachusetts Avenue will be closed between Prospect Street and Clinton Street.

• Inman Street will be closed between Harvard Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

• Bigelow Street will be closed between Massachusetts Avenue and Dottie Doyle Way.

• Sellers Street will be closed between Green Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

  • Temple Street: 8:00 AM - 12:00 AM
  • All other closed streets: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sunday, June 29: Summer Classic 5K

• Rolling Closures
  • Race starting on Sidney Street, then continues along the following streets in order:
    • Pacific Street
    • Albany Street
    • Massachusetts Avenue
    • Putnam Avenue
    • Brookline Street
    • Franklin Street
    • Returns to Sidney Street to Finish

  • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
