Appointments may include help with:  

• searching the library catalog
• finding e-books and digital audiobooks
• using the library’s online magazines and newspapers
• streaming music or movies through the library
• finding materials in the library building
• using online resources for skill-building and hobbies
• using online resources for work/school
• researching family history
• building a business or career
• looking for educational opportunities

This service is designed to help adult patrons make the most of our collections and resources. A few important notes before you complete the Book a Librarian form:

• A library card is not required, but it does allow for the best use of our services. If you would like to sign up for a card before your appointment, you can get started here.
• We’re happy to assist with library-related questions, but please note:
  • We cannot provide medical, legal, or tax advice. 
  • We cannot handle business or financial transactions.
  • We cannot offer technical support beyond library services.
• If we can’t fully address your request, we’ll do our best to connect you with other helpful resources.
• Appointments are scheduled based on staff availability and expertise to ensure the best possible assistance.
• To keep this service accessible to everyone, we may need to limit the number or frequency of appointments as demand requires.
