Description

Join MIT, Cambridge's Traffic and Parking Department, and the State Department of Conservation and Recreation for a community meeting about Ames Street. We’ll share plans for:

  • a two-way protected bike facility on the east side of Ames Street, from Main Street to Memorial Drive, and
  • an improved crossing at the intersection of Ames Street and Memorial Drive.

These changes are conditions of a MIT Cambridge Planning Square Redevelopment project. The new facilities will improve safety for people walking, biking, and driving in the area. This meeting is an opportunity for you to review and ask questions about the plans before they are implemented.
