Description

The City of Cambridge will be holding a community meeting to discuss a new Universal Design playground, which will be the first of its kind in the city, at Mayor Thomas W. Danehy Park. The playground will be constructed on the empty parcel adjacent to Field Street.

City staff, along with the design firm of Weston and Sampson, and a focus group of parents and educators will present initial site analysis findings and preliminary design concepts, which will include accessible play opportunities for children of all abilities along with passive areas for residents of all ages.
