Description

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023 adopted by Massachusetts General Court and approved by the Governor, the Cambridge Retirement System is authorized to use remote participation at meetings of the Board. This will be a hybrid meeting, held in-person at 125 CambridgePark Drive and also via videoconference.    Vote to consider the regular minutes of the meeting held on September 3, 2024. Vote to consider the executive session minutes of the meeting held on September 3, 2024. Vote to consider the minutes of the investment review meeting held on September 5, 2024.
2. Warrants
   Vote to consider payment of warrant #18 in the amount of $9,782,361.37 and warrant #19 in the amount of $222,752.16.
3. Superannuations
   Vote to consider the Superannuation retirement applications submitted by: Laurie Avallone, Case Manager, Cambridge Health Alliance with nineteen years, seven months; Feroza Bashar, Interpreter, Cambridge Health Alliance with twenty-three years, eight months; Denise Costello, Staff Attorney, Cambridge Health Alliance with fourteen years, four months; Patricia Griffin, Cafeteria Worker, Cambridge Health Alliance with thirty-four years, four months; Ellen Shore, Operations Director, Redevelopment Authority with ten years.
4. Redeposits / Make-up / Liability
   Vote to consider the make-up of prior service for: 1. Yordanos Berhe, 4 years 10 months (pro-rated) 2. Conor P. Brown, 4 months (pro-rated), requesting acceptance of liability 3. Manuel F.    Vote to consider 17 refund applications submitted in September.
6. Accidental Disability Benefit - Samuel Bynoe
   Vote to consider the reports of the medical panel in the application for Accidental Disability benefits filed by Samuel Bynoe, Motor Equipment Operator I in the Dept. of Public Works. Mr. Bynoe is represented by Attorney Morgan Gray, who will appear remotely.
7. Accidental Disability Application - Philip Fournier
   Vote to consider the Accidental Disability application filed by Philip Fournier, Clinical Leader at Cambridge Health Alliance. Mr. Fournier is represented by Attorney Morgan Gray, who will appear remotely.
8. Accidental Disability Benefit - Zachary Brown
   Vote to consider the reports of the medical panel in the Accidental Disability application filed by Zachary Brown, a Police Officer. Mr. Brown is represented by Attorney Thomas Gibson, who will appear remotely.
9. Accidental Disability Benefit - Robert Ivanoskos
   Vote to consider the reports of the medical panel in the Accidental Disability application filed by Robert Ivanoskos, Maintenance Worker in the Traffic & Parking Dept. Mr. Ivanoskos is represented by Attorney John Moran, who will appear in-person.
10. Actuarial Valuation
    Vote to consider adoption of the most recent draft of the 1/1/2024 Actuarial Valuation.
