CAMBRIDGE HISTORICAL COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM to consider the following matters under M.G.L. Ch. 40C and Ch. 2.78 of the Code of the City of Cambridge:

This meeting will be held online. The public may participate via Zoom (https://zoom.us/) from a phone, tablet or computer. Written comments received by 5:00 P.M. the day before the meeting will be considered by commissioners in advance of meeting. Comments received later will be entered into the record. AGENDA:
1.  Public Hearings: Landmark Designation Proceedings
     Case L-147: 43-45 Mt Auburn St. Foundation for Civic Leadership, owner. Consider landmark study report and make recommendation to City Council.
2.  Public Hearings: Alterations to Designated Properties
     Case 4906: Brattle St. from Mason St. to Fresh Pond Pkwy, by City of Cambridge. Review existing two-way bike lanes and related structures.
     Case 5354: Craigie St. at Brattle and Sparks streets, by City of Cambridge. Install bike share station.
     Case 5355: 29 Mt. Auburn St., by The Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. Install architectural lighting at St. Paul’s church.
     Case 5356: 580 Mt. Auburn St., by Mount Auburn Cemetery. Alter paving at cemetery gates.
     Case 5357: 29 Follen St., by Follen Development LLC. Restore existing house. Construct new 3-family residence at rear. Related landscape changes.
     Case 5358: 15 Follen St., by Andrew W. Lo. Replace existing replacement windows with new construction windows and trim.
     Case 5230 (Amendment): 1124 Massachusetts Ave., by Sigma Chi Foundation Inc. Construct 4th floor addition and front roof deck.

     Determination of Procedure: Alterations to Designated Property
     Case 5367: 14 Craigie St., by Carol Green. Rebuild front steps and add handrail for safety. Install path lighting at front walk.

Cases may be taken out of order and approved at the beginning of the meeting. Persons who wish to have a hearing on a case should notify the Commission in advance or be present at the beginning of the meeting when the Consent Agenda is discussed.
