Description

This community support meeting is being postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. Counselors will be available at the Morse School on Saturday, January 14 from 2 to 4 PM to talk with and offer resources individuals who are in need of support.

Here is a message from Riverside Trauma Center explaining why the community support meeting is being postponed and this alternative form of support is being offered.

Riverside Trauma Center responds to communities after they have experienced a critical incident. We have been supporting Cambridge since the death of Sayed Faisal. Our trauma responses include both individual and group support. Given the raw nature of this incident and uncertainty of how it will be handled, we feel it best to meet individually rather than in large group setting. We believe this will lead to a better stabilizing experience.

We are available to continue to provide individual and group support to neighbors who would like to process their feelings in response to Sayed's death. Counselors will be available at the Morse School on Saturday, January 14 from 2 to 4 PM for people who would like to have a short meeting with a trauma responder.

Our hearts are with you during this difficult time.
